Yesterday was my first time eating at this restaurant after a friend recommended me. The food was tasty but the serving was very skimpy. I also noticed that the individual who was working the counter was smashing down rice noodles that was in a bucket with his bare hands after he just on the register. I then questioned their cleanliness and use of proper handwashing and use of gloves. I was silly enough to order carry out the next day. When I clarified my order over the phone an individual was extremely rude. I asked him to please not speak to me that way. I think itβs safe to say I will not be back!

I walked in and the place was spotless. I ordered the number eleven, their traditional pho, and it was excellent. The flavor was much more authentic than Pho House, the quality of the meat and ingredients was noticeably better, and the broth was delicious. I've eaten at several pho places downtown in Ann Arbor and they've been much pricier than this spot and honestly not as good. I also tried the chicken wings β they were a bit small but the KD sauce was really tasty. Prices here are very affordable, and this place is legit. I'll definitely be coming back β it's my new go-to pho spot.

Fast casual place, mildly pricey but since they cut out the tip the final cost actually isn't that bad. Prices aren't bad. $13-$14 for a base bowl of pho, and the broth is pretty good. You'll most likely want to get the extra noodles ($1), and extra meat ( $2.50) if you're used to pho bowl sizes from elsewhere. Best part is that the pho is traditional, broth tastes exactly as expected. Beats every downtown ann arbor vietnamese restaurant but probably still pales in comparison to what you'll find in larger asian heavy metropolitan areas. The beef toppings is pretty much exactly what I buy from the local asian supermarket, it's pretty good quality and flavor, but market prices around here for ingredients are already kinda high. To be very honest it doesn't get much cheaper in this economy, so I'd rather just pay more for more food and cut out service. Cost and portions aside, flavor is solid.

I may as well have just thrown away $18. This is the first Vietnamese restaurant I've tried now that I'm back in Michigan I am not happy at all. I lived in San Francisco for 12 years and I KNOW I've been spoiled when it comes to Asian food. But this? I wanted to treat myself and so I looked in the area and found this restaurant. 4+ stars. I was excited because I missed having the pork chop plate that I was so accustomed to back in SF. I ordered at the counter and a tiny, excitable woman told me they didn't have spring rolls which I thought was weird because they're on the menu . Fine. (Later I asked one of the young employees and they said that they do have spring rolls on the weekends only) I ordered a couple of eggrolls because the pork chop dish was going to take about a half hour. She brought the egg rolls and they were fine. They were small. Normally, when I would order a pork chop, I would get two slices of pork chop that had been tenderized with a mallet and marinated for days. They were delicious. I could often simply eat them with my chopsticks because they were so tender. They were served with rice, tomatoes, and cucumbers, fresh basil and sometimes mint, and fish sau
